Orders & Shipping
We process accumulated online orders once per business day.
Shipping Rates
Our basic shipping rate is a flat rate of $14.95. If you place a very large order, we may have to contact you to add an extra charge for shipping your order.
Changing or Canceling Your Order
Once your order has been placed, you will not be able to cancel or make any changes to your order online. For reasons of food safety and perishability, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any food items. If you need to make changes to an order after it has been placed, but before it has shipped, please call us at 715-373-0565, and we'll be happy to assist you.
Product Availability
Our website lists all of the products that are normally available online from Harbor House Sweets. From time to time products may be out of stock or otherwise unavailable. We will notify you by email should such a case arise. If we are unable to reach you about a possible substitution, we will adjust the billing as appropriate. Harbor House Sweets retains the right to substitute items of similar or greater value at no extra cost to the purchaser.
Delivery Information
Most of our shipments are temperature-sensitive so it is best to ship to a location where someone will be available to receive the package. Business address packages are delivered earlier in the day, so choose this type of address if you can. When we ship to a residential address, we always send items using Shipper Release, which means that the delivery driver is authorized to leave the package unattended, to prevent any delays in delivery.
Product Care
Our collection of chocolates and confections have a handwritten "enjoy by" date on the ingredient label.
Caramels: We advise that our caramels be consumed before the "enjoy by" date.
Chocolates: Our chocolates are best before the "enjoy by" date. Do not refrigerate. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Toffees: Toffees are safe to consume after the "enjoy by" date has passed, but we feel they are best before the date.
